The job sectors that I have chosen are TV and advertising. The reason why I have chosen these two sections is because I find it very fun and interesting.

                                              Television

Television production information

The television production team is a very big section in the media industry that includes many different professional fields. Television production involves many different professionals working together to create a finished program or film for the audiences entertainment.

There are many jobs in TV production and they are as wide and as varied. TV production is a very open career path with many job opportunities. Many people in the TV production path are freelancers. A freelancer is somebody who is self-employed meaning that they are their own boss. Freelancers are not contracted or particular committed to the employer and can leave whenever they want or work whenever or whenever they want. Or you can go down the route of being a permanent worker, a permanent worker is somebody who is directly employed and works for an employer. A permanent worker has more of an advantage then a freelancer because they are more likely to get promoted , they get more pay and have many benefits in addition to their job for example benefits such as ; health care , paid vacations, holidays sick time and contributions to a recruitment plan.

Television Listings Editor (apprentice)

For this role you will be working as part of a team dedicated to working on a vast range of television listings data, ensuring each channels  listings are up to date and accurate.  The role includes:

·         Ensuring they keep on top of various procedures

·         Compiling and generating report emails

·         Work to challenging targets and deadlines

·         Data management of TV data using our in house systems

·         Sourcing and adding pictures to the database

·         Work closely with other members of the team to ensure high standards are met at all times

Film Director

What is a film director?

A film director is a person who directs and controls the making of a film production. A film director the films different aspects and visualises the script while guiding the technical crew and actors in their paths.

What we are looking for?

We are currently searching for a new director who will take us to the next level. A director who can come up with internet web series, designed to create conversation and social commentary about the burning issues of our time.  As a director you will need to be a driving person with a creative mind who will visualise and structure the style of the web series with your fantastic ideas and bring them to life. You will be responsible for directing the film and setting out all the roles and the order of how the web series will go. You will be assigning the cast where to be and what to do at a particular time. You will also be responsible for motivating the team to produce the best results.

As an advertising executive you will be responsible for maintaining and increasing sales by working closely with clients.

What the task will include?
